Editorial house Beast, (a subsidiary of Deluxe Entertainment Services Group), announced the addition of executive producer Brian Mettler to its Detroit facility. Brian joins Beast from a 12-year run as a producer and account executive at another Detroit facility, where he was responsible for cultivating and diversifying client relationships. Some of his previous clients include Leo Burnett, CE, Doner, Team Detroit, Global Hue and Goodby, Silverstein & Partners.
“Beast Detroit is growing and the addition of Brian Mettler rounds out the roster in an amazing way,” said Beast COO, Valerie Petrusson. “Brian’s past experience of representing editors, artists and colorists, plus his natural enthusiasm and love of the business is a winning combination.”
“It’s like I was walking down the street and the A-Team van pulled up, threw a bag over my head and pulled me in,” said Mettler. “Now I have the luxury of walking into this amazing office with extraordinarily talented individuals at all levels. Beast, the brand and the people who work here are the best at what we do coast to coast.”
A build-out is underway in Detroit for sister companies Company 3 and Method Studios to co-locate into a new space located just one floor above Beast. “With this, we will occupy the entire space and be able to present a storefront offering to our clients,” said Mettler. “Co-locating allows us to better serve our clients and provide more efficient and seamless workflows and I am excited to be part of this undertaking.”
