At SXSW in Austin this week, online creative production studio Rooster Teeth released a trailer for Lazer Team, the company’s first feature film. The sci-fi action comedy stars Rooster Teeth co-founder “Burnie” Burns, Michael Jones, Gavin Free and Colton Dunn, who end up as unlikely heroes after stumbling upon an alien spaceship.
Co-founder and CEO of Rooster Teeth Matt Hullum wrote and directed the film along with Josh Flanagan, Chris Demarais and Burns.
The company raised $2.4 million on Indiegogo last year to fund production.
