Hollywood-based Quixote Studios announced that its second annual Quixote EcoFair will be held on June 15 at its West Hollywood location. The free six-hour event will highlight the growing movement towards sustainability in entertainment and media production.
Already a pioneer in green production through its use of recycled materials, eco-friendly operating practices and its “Verde” motorhomes, Quixote will showcasing the latest green-conscious trends from a wide range of companies at the EcoFair.
The event will include a panel discussion among green industry luminaries. During the “How Green is My Production?” panel discussion, presenters will discuss environmental practices with a focus on moving towards production that is off-the-grid, zero waste and carbon neutral.
“We’re thrilled to offer the industry another EcoFair,” said Quixote CEO Mikel Elliott. “This event is a great way to demonstrate the commitment of the Quixote team and our industry colleagues to the sustainability movement.”
Companies in all aspects of production are expected to participate, including suppliers of production vehicles, catering, set lighting, equipment rental, film and photography studios, location services, set construction and technology.
The Quixote EcoFair will take place on June 15 from 2-8 p.m. at 1101 N. Fuller Avenue, West Hollywood.
