IATSE, the Teamsters, LiUNA! 724, IBEW Local 40, Local 755 Plasterers & Local 78 Plumbers will be holding a Thanksgiving Meal Distribution event on Monday, November 20 as part of continuing aid efforts for those who have not been able to work while production was shuttered due to the strikes.
The food drives takes place from 9AM to 4pm PST at the IATSE West Coast Office: 2210 W Olive Ave, Burbank, CA 91506

‘LEAN IN & LEAN ON’ THANKSGIVING MEAL DISTRIBUTION EVENT
What: Hollywood crew-members from IATSE, Teamsters, LiUNA! 724, IBEW Local 40, Local 755 Plasterers & Local 78 Plumbers are hosting a drive-thru Thanksgiving Meal Distribution Event. This event is for union members, and by union members, to support one another through the Thanksgiving Holiday. Meals will be distributed to members of the Hollywood Labor locals that registered for a box of Thanksgiving dry goods and voucher for a protein of choice.
Who: Entities involved in the organization of this event:
▪ IATSE, Teamsters, LiUNA! 724, IBEW Local 40, Local 755 Plasterers &
Local 78 Plumbers Union members volunteering onsite to support
fellow union brothers and sisters picking up donated items.
▪ Labor Community Services: Non-profit dedicated to orchestrating food
programs for out-of-work or unemployed workers. Non-profit arm of
the Los Angeles Federation of Labor.
▪ Quixote by Sunset: Donation of all vendor needs for cones, tables,
chairs, dilineators, safety vests and more.
▪ Herc Rentals: Donation forklift.
▪ Reel Waste: Donation of dumpsters and trash bins.
When: Monday, November 20th

Arrival/Parking:
Media can arrive around 8:30AM and parking details will be shared upon confirmation.
Media Check-In: Traffic control volunteers will be posted to assist media. Due to the sensitivity of the event, we ask that you not approach the cars in-line for food or product pick-up.
