A newly-restored music video for The Beatles’ hit song “A Day In the Life” premiered on Mashable on Wednesday, in advance of the release of a deluxe reissue of their 2000 hits collection 1, that’s set to include some 50 restored and never-commercially-released films and videos.
“A Day In The Life” was the crescendo of The Beatles’ legendary 1967 album Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band.
In the days before MTV and music videos, The Beatles made what they dubbed “mini movies” to promote their new releases after they stopped touring, many of which were never commercially released and will premiere on the new 1+ box set when it goes on sale Nov. 6 as a 2-Blu-ray/1CD collection.
