The Women In Media CAMERAderie Initiative Orientation launched off at SIGMA Corporation in Burbank on Saturday, June 29, 2019. The orientation featured a jam-packed schedule with guest panelists, along with stellar breakout sessions led by industry professionals. The classes focused on Leadership, Camera, Production, Post Production, Sound, Composing, Script Supervision, and Art Department.
Women In Media Executive Director Tema Staig moderated the keynote speakers on “Leadership and Collaboration.” The five panelists comprised of Cinematographer Quyen Tran (The Little Hours, Mogadishu, Minnesota, Camping), Writer/Director Colin Trevorrow (Jurassic World 1/2/3, Safety Not Guaranteed), Composer Germaine Franco (Coco, Tag, Little, Dora and the Lost City of Gold), Grip Krystina Figg (The Hateful Eight, Dunkirk, Once Upon a Time In Hollywood, Spider-Man 2), and Editor Evan Schiff (John Wick 2 and 3, Proud Mary, Southside With You).

Block 3:
Production Design and Set Decoration: Sinead Clancy (Lethal Weapon).
Post Production Workflow: Kerry Michelle, Paul Runyan, Evan Schiff (John Wick 2 and 3).
Producing Breakout Session: Allison Vanore.
Script Supervision Mini-Session: Roe Moore (Misfits).
Secrets to Hollywood Sound: Mark Edward Lewis (Cinema Sound).
