LR-FilmLight Baselight for Avid Windows - high-res availableLondon-based FilmLight announced that it has appointed reseller and integrator Key Code Media to handle sales and support of FilmLight’s Baselight Editions range – including the recently launched Baselight for Avid (Windows) – on the West Coast and in the central region.

“Key Code Media’s expertise in the market, from the boutique edit houses to the major broadcasters, will allow us to reach new customers who value Baselight’s extensive color tools and have not yet had the chance to experiment with Baselight Editions,” said Peter Postma, managing director, FilmLight U.S.

Key Code Media consults, supports and sells digital media communication systems. The company has offices in Burbank, Santa Monica, San Francisco, Irvine, Las Vegas, and Seattle and recently expanded to the Midwest with a new office in Chicago and Detroit.

“I see our clients getting a good portion of their color work done in Avid versus exporting to other grading systems,” said Mike Cavanagh, president, Key Code Media. “The fluid integration between Baselight and Avid Media Composer and Symphony enable our clients to be more productive. This allows them to leverage the right tool for the proper task while maintaining unprecedented real-time media compatibility.”

Key Code Media complements the growing network of Baselight Editions resellers across the Americas including CineSys, New Media Hollywood, AMTEC and PSK Engenharia.
