New York-based Northern Lights has signed editor Greg Letson for east coast representation. With over two decades of experience cutting commercials, broadcast promos, short films, music videos and documentaries, Letson has earned numerous accolades for his advertising work, including a 2008 AICE Award for his PSA for the Library of Congress through the Ad Council. He has edited spots for Coca-Cola, Visa, Reebok, Ford, Mercedes-Benz, Bayer, Citibank, Olay and Trojan, collaborating with agencies such as Chiat\Day, McCann-Erickson, BBDO, Saatchi, JWT, Arnold Worldwide and Creative Artists Agency (CAA). Letson will edit select projects through Northern Lights.
“Many, many years ago, Greg and I were in a band together for about five minutes,” said Northern Lights executive producer Robin Hall. “The band didn’t work out but we’ve stayed in touch. Greg is a master storyteller who brings a sense of enthusiasm and excitement to each new project. His abilities as a musician and visual artist add an extra dimension to his editorial skills.”
With a degree in broadcasting and film from Boston University, Honolulu native Letson has cut projects through a number of NYC’s editorial facilities including Red Car, Fluid, Hooligan, Cabana and The Big Picture. Letson’s work spans a wide variety of genres, spanning cinematic visual storytelling, character-driven comedy and docu-style branded work.
