2G Digital has appointed Jordan Jacobs to the newly-created post of senior vice president of business development. Formerly VP of sales and account management at Technicolor, Jacobs will seek to develop new business and broaden existing relationships with film and television studios and independent producers. 2G Digital specializes in digital distribution and related services for all types of entertainment content.

Jacobs has over 30 years of experience in distribution and content management, including 11 years at Technicolor. Earlier in his career, Jacobs served in senior managerial and operational roles for a variety of postproduction service providers, including a 10 year stint at Dubs Inc, where he was VP and general manager.
