Advanced Systems Group to Host Two Technology Trending Happy Hours

-

Advanced Systems Group (ASG) will host two Technology Trending Happy Hours, sponsored by Quantum and Adobe, for video professionals in the Pacific Northwest. The first event will be Feb. 12 at Rock Bottom Brewery in Bellevue, Washington, and the second will be Feb. 13 at Rock Bottom Brewery in Portland, Oregon. Both happy hours begin at 5 p.m. with free drinks and appetizers, followed by demos of Quantum StorNext 5 and Adobe Anywhere for video at 6 p.m.

“Editing workflow solutions and storage architectures continue to challenge video professionals, and many organizations have yet to even try network-based collaboration because of security or bandwidth concerns,” said Dave Van Hoy, president, Advanced Systems Group. “These events allow local members of the professional video community to network and learn about these exciting new products in a fun, relaxed setting.”

StorNext 5 is Quantum’s recently re-architected platform that enables complete end-to-end content management for modern media workflows. It provides improved ingest and transcoding performance, optimized SAN and LAN client workflows, and integrated high-speed archive and data management.

Adobe Anywhere is a secure collaborative workflow platform that allows professional video teams to work together using centralized media across standard networks. Its real-time environment works with Adobe’s cross-platform professional video tools, so no proprietary hardware is required.

The Technology Trending Happy Hours are free, but pre-registration is required. For more information and online registration, visit http://www.asgllc.com/events/tthh.
