Former Stardust EP Paul Abatemarco, who most recently headed up MPC Creative‘s U.S. division, has joined Culver City-based Foundation Content as executive producer.
“With clients demanding that productions be handled efficiently, professionally and, most importantly, as creatively as possible, all within tighter and tighter budget parameters, Paul is the perfect partner to realize Foundation’s fullest potential,” said Samanta Hart, Foundation’s co-founder and CCO. “He fully understands the DNA of our company and what makes it so special.”
As executive producer, Abatemarco will develop and grow Foundation’s new roster of directors, while continuing to foster the careers of the already established team in place. VP of brand strategy/production Evan Cohen and senior producer Stacy Paris will now report to Abatemarco.
“We are continuing to evolve as a company and have been looking for a strong leader who understands our model,” said company co-founder James Levon. “We believe we have found that person in Paul.”
Abatemarco has more than 13 years of experience in live action, VFX and motion graphics.
