Flame artist Vin Roma and senior VFX producer Colleen Valentino
Nice Shoes has promoted Flame artist Vin Roma to lead the studio’s visual effects department. As head of VFX, he will be working closely with the heads of other departments to evaluate the studio’s approach to integrated production jobs and with engineering and production to advise on workflow efficiencies and best practices.

“Vin’s experience, enthusiasm and desire to further grow the department and integrate with the other teams make him a great fit for this leadership role,” managing director Kristen Martini said. Roma will continue in his role as a Flame artist, having worked with brands such as Google, Vick’s, IBM, UPS and Calvin Klein, as well as celebrities like Beyoncé, Lady Gaga and Kanye West.

Colleen Valentino will be joining Nice Shoes as a senior VFX producer. “Colleen’s experience at a variety of high-end VFX shops makes her a great addition to the Nice Shoes Production team,” said production manager Ed Rilli. Since joining the studio in early November, Valentino has produced projects for singer Nicki Minaj.

Both Roma and Valentino will be working closely with the Nice Shoes sales team to promote and grow business in the department.
