Founders and executive producers Diego Luna, Pablo Cruz and Eric Bonniot announced the formation of Gloria, a new multi-platform production studio specializing in branded entertainment. With offices in L.A. and Mexico City, the company will serve both Spanish and English markets.

Mexican commercial directors Rodrigo Valdés and Rogelio Sikander have joined the company. Valdés recently picked up a Cannes Lions Silver award for his directorial work on the spot “Jackpot” for AMIS/Mexican Insurance Association.

Gloria’s directorial roster also features writer/director Jonás Cuarón (Gravity), who just finished his latest feature, Desierto; Alonso Ruiz Palacios, whose feature Gueros debuted at last year’s Tribeca Film Festival; Mario Munoz (Bajo La Sal), and Fernando Frias.

“The Latino community is hugely influential and we want work with brands to tell stories that are relevant and real” said Luna. “We see Gloria as a place to collaborate with brands and connect with consumers in an authentic way.”

The company’s upcoming projects include a feature-length branded documentary and they are currently in production on a six-part web series for Mexico’s largest department store chain.
