The Cinema Audio Society will present its annual “Meet the Winners” panel discussion, Feb. 20 at 1:00 p.m. in the Theatre at the Los Angeles Film School. The event, which is free of charge, will include a panel discussion with the winners of the CAS’ Outstanding Achievement in Sound Mixing award from five categories, including motion picture, television movies and mini-series, television series, non-fiction television (series or specials), and DVD original programing. In addition, Career Achievement honoree Jeffrey S. Wexler, will participate.
“The CAS has a long-standing history of presenting educational and informative seminars and panel discussions to the general public as part of our mission…” said CAS president Edward L. Moskowitz. “While we won’t know the winners of the five categories until the envelopes are opened at the 47th CAS Awards Dinner the evening before, we do know that the projects that will be represented at the panel will be the best of the best in sound mixing from 2010.”
