Petrol Bags Introduces Deca Large Sound Gear & Accessories Bag

-

The Deca Large Sound Gear & Accessories Bag is being premiered at IBC 2012

Petrol Bags, part of Vitec Videocom, introduced a new carrying case designed specifically for working sound professionals at IBC 2012. The Deca Large Sound Gear & Accessories Bag is designed to offer protection for delicate audio equipment and accessories both in transit and on location. Contents are kept safe, secure, organized and accessible.

The top lid of this semi-hard carrier features a run-around cover zipper for extra protection from adverse weather. Inside are two compartments: an upper shallow tray with dividers to hold small accessories and a bottom section with padded dividers to store larger gear. Contents are surrounded and cushioned by soft padded orange, brushed polyester. The tray and dividers can be easily removed to create a single large compartment. On one side of the bag, an envelope-style pocket unzips to offer fast and easy access to the interior. On the opposite side, twin storage pouches provide room for additional cargo. Also, the interior of the lid and the side pocket are equipped with zippered pouches of transparent mesh for stashing important paperwork or other small accessories.

Petrol Bags’ integrated telescoping, square-frame tote bar and inline skate wheels provide smooth roll-along toting without play or jiggle, while also offering ease of portability. Additional features include an internal one-piece ABShoneycomb frame for extra protection, ergonomic interlock carrying handle and padded shoulder strap, side carrying handles, exterior top straps for carrying a boom pole or small tripod, an exterior plastic exchangeable logo frame for personal branding, and dual-directional easy glide zippers.

This model, the PA1003, weighs 17.8 pounds (8.1 kg) and the exterior measures: 25.8 inches (65.5 cm) long, 15.7 inches (40 cm) wide, by 17.1 inches (43.5 cm) high.
