Fox released a new teaser for its upcoming X-Files revival miniseries, scheduled to premiere in January. The six-episode series, helmed by creator/executive producer Chris Carter, stars David Duchovny and Gillian Anderson reprising their roles as FBI agents Fox Mulder and Dana Scully.
Over the course of its nine-season run, the series built up a cult following and earned 16 Emmy awards, five Golden Globes and a Peabody Award.
The teaser is part of Fox’s “201 Days of The X-Files” promotion. As of yesterday, if fans watching one episode per day, they will be caught up in time for the show’s Jan. 24, 2016 premiere.
