London-based LipSync Post has hired re-recording mixer Sven Taits. Sven spent seven years at De Lane Lea before going freelance in 2008, and has worked with many distinguished directors including Wes Anderson, Stephen Woolley, Mike Leigh, Anthony Minghella and Paul Greengrass. His feature film credits include The Constant Gardener, Fantastic Mr Fox, United 93 and Layer Cake, while his TV work includes The Wipers Times (BBC) and White Girl (BBC).
“Sven’s diverse experience and outstanding audio skills make him an ideal addition to our talented sound team,” said Peter Hampden, managing director, The LipSync Group.

Sven will work on feature film and television projects, starting with The Dead Lands, directed by Toa Fraser, a period action epic about murder and vengeance in a Maori tribe.
