Quixote Studios announced that it is bringing its P.A. Bootcamp to Charleston, S.C., Oct. 13-14. The popular Hollywood training program for aspiring production assistants is an intensive two-day course that teaches students how to break into the film and television industry.
Training topics include understanding how a professional film shoot works, from prep to wrap; a working knowledge of crew departments, their functions and interactions; set protocol, (i.e. do’s and don’ts); hands-on radio/walkie training; gear and supplies; production terminology and paperwork, and how to create an effective PA resume and find a job.
Quixote P.A. Bootcamp’s staff includes well-versed professionals who are currently working in the entertainment industry, including producers, assistant directors, production coordinators and P.A.s.
