7,500 Worldwide Adopt Pro Tools|HDX

Avid announced that sales of its Pro Tools|HDX have exceeded 7,500 systems worldwide. Major film production facilities, music and postproduction facilities as well as independent artists are using Pro Tools|HDX in their creative workflows. The HDX system gives users easy methods to record, edit and mix.

Every HDX system includes Pro Tools|HD 11. The third-party plug-in community has delivered advanced plug-ins and new audio tools to complement Pro Tools|HDX. Pro Tools|HD 11’s core engine, 64-bit architecture and expanded metering enables audio professionals to handle complex sessions, compose with more virtual instruments and effects and to collaborate directly with media composer editors.
