British supermarket chain Sainsbury’s recently released this heartwarming ad, made in partnership with The Royal British Legion, that commemorates the extraordinary events on the front lines of World War I on Christmas Day, 1914, when the guns fell silent and British and German soldiers met in no-man’s land, sharing gifts – and even playing football together.
The video has raked up over 15 million views on YouTube and topped critics lists of some of the best ads of the year.
